Steve E. Covell’s legal practice focuses on estate and financial planning. He practices across the state of Louisiana offering services for wills, trusts, estates, successions and probate as well as financial planning.

Mr. Covell prepares comprehensive estate planning portfolios centered on wills, trusts, special needs planning and retirement planning.

He is the author of the “Louisiana Legal Advisor”, a book that is widely available and is now in its fifth edition.

He is the Managing Partner of Covell Financial, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor company authorized by the Louisiana Department of Financial Institutions to give financial advice within the State of Louisiana.  Mr. Covell is a Series 65 Registered Investor Advisor Representative and is licensed to provide financial and investment advice to his clients.

As a result of his experience, he offers “Painless Estate Planning” using a system he has developed to take his clients through the process easily. “Painless Estate Planning” is targeted to individuals who seek estate planning with the complete cost of planning disclosed before services are rendered.  This plan is not based upon hourly charges and avoids unexpected legal bills.
