Jay Corenswet’s primary areas of practice include commercial litigation, casualty litigation, intellectual property and business law. Mr. Corenswet also provides services for trademarks and copyrights and has been involved in numerous banking cases including the reported cases: Elliot Black v. Whitney National Bank, 618 S.2d 509 (LA App. 4 Cir. 1993) aff’d, 623 S.2d 1308 (1993); Gulf States Section P.G.A. v. Whitney National Bank, 689 S.2d 638 (LA App. 4 Cir. 1997).

Mr. Corenswet has served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Charles Schwartz, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, 1989 – 1990. He has been with Milling Benson, 1990 -present.

Mr. Corenswet is a member of the Louisiana State Bar.
